Moreno Throws Shutout As Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats Varsity Defeats Medina
Stephen Moreno didn’t allow a single run as Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats Varsity defeated Medina 14-0 on Saturday. Moreno allowed just one hit and struck out Frosty to end the game.

Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats Varsity scored six runs in the fourth inning. Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats Varsity scored on a double by Westin Keese, a single by Wyatt Blackwell, a stolen base by Justin Hernandez, and a stolen base by Ryan Garcia.
One bright spot for Medina was a single by Keese in the second inning.
Stephen Moreno earned the win for Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats Varsity. He tossed four innings, allowing zero runs, one hit, and striking out five. Frosty took the loss for Medina. He went four innings, allowing 14 runs, seven hits, and striking out three.
Blackwell led Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats Varsity with two hits in three at bats. Hernandez led Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats Varsity with six stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 18 stolen bases.
Keese went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Medina in hits.

The Bobcats ended the Bandera Tourney 2-1 overall, with their last game being cancelled due to rain. The Bobcats enjoyed traveling to the Hill Country and competing against teams they have not played before. The Cats also enjoyed an evening in San Antonio bowling, lazer tagging, and arcade gaming at Main Event San Antonio. The Bobcats are now 7-2 on the year and will face Karnes City tomorrow (3/7/17) in Skidmore with the JV starting at 5:00 and the varsity at 7:30. The JV Bobcats will then travel to Corpus Christi to Participate in the CC Miller JV tourney. Friday 3/10/17 will be the annual Bobcats Alumni game which will begin around 6:30 pm.
