Bobcats News · Pink Out Friday

Pink RibbonOctober is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.   Join our community in recognizing breast cancer awareness by wearing pink at tonight’s game October 9th vs. Banquete .   Everyone is encouraged to wear pink.  All of this shows our solidarity to tackle breast cancer.

Thank you for your continued support.

Message from Elementary:

The Skidmore-Tynan Elementary Student Council is giving away pink ribbons at tonight’s game in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Wearing a pink ribbon shows support and solidarity in vowing to come together to find a cure for the disease, to help women who currently struggle, and to encourage yearly exams for early detection.

Our young council members are also taking up monetary donations for the American Cancer Society. Any money raised tonight will go toward cancer research, local cancer programs and services, fitting women for wigs, transportation programs for cancer treatments, and cancer support groups. The council members are wearing purple vests tonight and have purple cups to pick up your donations. Please be generous!
